Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 15:30pm

Year group: Reception- Year 1

Tradewind are seeking a strong Teaching Assistant who holds experience of White Rose Maths and Phonics learning schemes. The school are looking to appoint an individual to work with SEN children in the KS1 setting to raise pupil attainment.

About the role:

• This is a mixed ability class, and some pupils are diagnosed with SEN
• Support SEN pupils on a 1:1 or group basis
• Lead interventions when necessary
• Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress
• Help to set up and tidy up at the start and end of lessons

Requirements:

• Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is ideal
• Must have lots of initiative and a pro-active approach
• Bachelor's degree is ideal but not essential
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
