Philanthropy Manager
London (with hybrid working)

The Organisation

Our client helps hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering, and fundraising.

They are now looking for a Philanthropy Manager to join them on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week, for a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.

The Role

As the Philanthropy Manager, you will lead on securing significant donations from individuals, trusts, corporates, and statutory bodies to support vital projects.

You'll identify and cultivate new high-value supporters, manage your own portfolio of major donors, and ensure exceptional stewardship through bespoke reports, site tours, and exclusive events.

Working closely with colleagues, you'll shape and deliver compelling fundraising propositions, prepare high-quality written applications and impact reports, and ensure donor contributions are used meaningfully and effectively.

Additionally, you will:

- Play a key role in an engagement programme
- Track income against KPIs and report progress to senior leadership
- Represent the charity at cultivation events and contribute to strategic planning efforts

About You

To be considered as a Philanthropy Manager, you will need:
- Experience of securing five-figure-plus gifts from major supporters
- Experience of engaging and stewarding major supporters
- Experience and an understanding of planning budgets
- Experience of managing and developing information on a CRM database
- An understanding of Institute of Fundraising (IoF) policies and procedures
- The ability to analyse complex information and compile it into concise, powerful and persuasive funding proposals
- The ability to travel between hospital sites in London
