PhD Scholarship in MVDC Fault Protection & Research

Imperial College London invites applications for a funded PhD scholarship focused on protecting multi-terminal MVDC distribution systems. The research will cover fault analysis, detection and location methods, and enhanced protective schemes for MVDC networks with PV and EV charging infrastructure.

The successful candidate will work within the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, collaborating with GE Vernova, and may spend time at GE Vernova facilities in France.
