Job Description
The University of Manchester in the Chemical Engineering department invites applications for a 3.5-year PhD Studentship: Utilisation of CO2 for Subsurface Energy Extraction. The project is fully funded with a Home-rate tuition waiver and a tax-free stipend set at £21,805 for 2026/27, with expected annual increments.
Applications are welcome year round. Research aims to develop computational frameworks for CO2 utilisation techniques in geothermal energy, including CO2 Plume-Geothermal, CO2 brine
