Pharmacy Technician - Terenure

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in Hickeys Terenure. This is a 40 hour (5 day) permanent position with the store's opening hours operating between 9a.m. to 7p.m. Monday to Friday, 9a.m. to 6p.m. on Saturday, and closed on Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Report to and support the pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies (an advantage).
