Pharmacy Technician - Phibsboro

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickeys Phibsboro. This is a 16 hour permanent position with the store's opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. The team currently comprises a Store Manager, a Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Support Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 5 Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate and maintain excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.
