Pharmacy Technician - Mayfield, Cork

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickey's Mayfield store, in Cork.

Position type: 40 hour (5 day) permanent, Monday Friday 9a.m. 7p.m., Saturday 9a.m. 6p.m., closed Sunday.

Team: Retail Store Manager, Managing Pharmacist, 1 Relief, 1 Technician.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary (advantage).
• Experience with McLernons MPS (advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies (advantage).
