Summary:

Role Responsibilities:

Oversee daily pharmacy operations.

Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications.

Facilitate staff training and development.

Provide exceptional patient service and address concerns.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.

Maintain stock levels and order medications as needed.

Manage NHS and Private Services relationships.

Monitor medication adherence and offer patient counseling.

Control operating expenses and stay updated on medical advancements.

Train and supervise pharmacy staff.

Key Skills Required:

Experienced pharmacy manager or newly qualified pharmacist.

Registered in Wales as a pharmacist.

Accredited for Welsh services, ideally an independent subscriber.

Proficient in Welsh language.

Master's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical guidelines.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Attention to detail and effective multitasking.

Proficient computer skills for managing health records and inventory systems.

Competency in:

Flu Jabs (training provided)

Common ailments

Smoking Cessation

Needle Exchange

EHC (emergency hormonal contraception)

DMR (discharge medicine review)

Supervised administration
