Day Lewis Pharmacy in Parson Drove is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This role offers a varied working environment, combining both retail and dispensary duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction while also supporting patient care behind the scenes.

Hours & Pay

• 24 hours per week
• 9:30am to 3:30pmMonday , Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
• £13.25per hour

Main Responsibilities

Retail Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and healthcare advice where appropriate
• Assisting customers with over-the-counter products and healthcare needs
• Operating the till and handling transactions accurately
• Maintaining stock levels and merchandising displays
• Supporting health promotion campaigns and pharmacy services

Dispensary Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions
• Managing prescription collections and deliveries
• Ordering, receiving, and checking stock
• Maintaining accurate records and pharmacy paperwork
• Supporting pharmacists and the dispensary team in delivering safe and efficient patient care

About You

• Friendly and approachable with a genuine passion for helping people
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Previous pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
• An NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services qualification would be an advantage but is not required
