Pharma Assembly Operator
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
As a Pharma Assembly Operator, you will weld, assemble, test, and package products in accordance with standard operating procedures, ensuring all quality, cost, and delivery targets are met. You'll contribute to continuous improvement, uphold our safety standards, and support the team with flexibility and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Follow and promote all Company Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) practices, identifying improvement opportunities.
- Carry out welding, assembly, testing, and packaging of products according to instruction sheets and SOPs.
- Support a clean, organised, and efficient workplace through 5S activities.
- Complete Quality System and Production System transactions accurately.
- Meet on-time delivery targets by effectively organising tasks for yourself and supporting colleagues.
- Demonstrate and uphold the Company Core Values in daily activities.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, contributing ideas and supporting project work.
- Remain flexible to support other duties, including training colleagues and upskilling where required.
- Take ownership of your personal development plan, actively seek learning opportunities.
- Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Understanding the commercial and quality impact of production operations.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills to follow daily plans and instructions.
- Awareness of EHS practices and commitment to safe working.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma, 5Y) is advantageous.
- Ability and aptitude to deputise for the Team Leader when required.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail to maintain high-quality standards.
- Willingness and aspiration to learn, improve, and develop.
- Proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach to work.
- Strong teamwork, with the ability to work independently when necessary.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Good problem solving capabilities.
- Ability to train others effectively.

- Capable and willing to work across any operation within the section following standard training.
- Able to pick up new instructions, tools, and methods quickly.
- Perform first line fault diagnosis to support smooth production flow.
