Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage multiple Personnel Security Vetting Officers. This position is located in their busy Canberra office for an initial 12-month contract.

About the Position

The Personnel Security Vetting Officer is responsible for conducting thorough security assessments and vetting processes to ensure compliance with protective security policies. This role requires careful evaluation of sensitive information, quality assurance of vetting outcomes, and providing expert advice to support informed clearance decisions.

Duties

• Conduct personnel security vetting
• Complete quality assurance assessments
• Prepare detailed assessment reports
• Manage vetting case workload
• Perform general admin functions

Requirements/Skills

• Cert IV in Personnel Vetting is essential
• Current NV1 clearance minimum is essential
• Strong analytical assessment skills
• High-level written communication
