Clark Wood are currently recruiting for a Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior to join a highly regarded independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Droitwich, Worcestershire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ATT / CTA studier, experienced Personal Tax Assistant or Personal Tax Senior looking to develop their career within a growing Private Client Tax team.

Working closely with a Tax Partner, you will manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, delivering high-quality compliance services while gaining further exposure to advisory work and client management.

As a Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including individuals, directors, landlords and high-net-worth clients.
• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns.
• Dealing with a variety of personal tax matters including employment income, self-employment, property income, investments, overseas income and capital gains.
• Preparing tax computations and ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.
• Liaising directly with clients and providing support on personal tax queries.
• Working closely with the Tax Partner to deliver a high-quality client service.
• Assisting with tax planning and advisory work where required.

About You

• Previous experience working within a Personal Tax department in a UK accountancy practice.
• ATT qualified, studying towards ATT / CTA, or qualified by experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance.
• Experience managing or supporting a portfolio of private clients.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach with the ambition to develop within a growing firm.
