About the role

I am a lady in my 50s with Huntington's disease and am non verbal. I live in my home with my husband and family dog. I require assistance with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, continence care, medication administration, basic household tasks, and nutrition and hydration. Tasks include dressing, application of eczema creams to arms and neck, and ensuring personal appearance. I eat a vegetarian, finger food diet and need meals mashed and spoon fed to mitigate aspiration risk. I am mobile but require support while walking to avoid falls.

About you

You understand my medical needs and can provide emotional support and companionship. You are enthusiastic, professional, respectful, and comfortable around dogs. You may be local or have access to a car. Training will be provided.
