Position Title: Personal Assistant

Location: Preston, Lancashire

Hours Per Week: Bank / Ad hoc - to cover days and occasional waking nights.

Shift patterns are: Days - 9am to 5pm and 5pm to 9pm, Nights - 9pm to 9am, Monday to Sunday.

We are looking for day staff who could possibly work occasional waking nights as well; although the shifts would be for days as the priority.

About the Role

I am a young lady in my early 30s, living at home with my family. I have significant physical and learning disabilities. I require support to enable me to live life as fully and as independently as possible. I am looking for bank personal assistants to join my current team. You will be required to provide support with personal care, hoisting, bathing, dressing and social activities within my own home and the wider community.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a genuinely caring nature, good listening and communication skills, be fit, energetic, and enthusiastic with a good sense of humour. Candidates must be female due to the personal nature of the vacancy.

Flexibility of working hours is important to meet my needs, and will include covering weekends, bank holidays, staff holidays and sickness as required. You must be able to work day shifts and waking nights as required.
