Personal Assistant for Young Person (Part Time, £16.47/hr)

Direct Payment Personal Assistant required for a 12 year old daughter.

Hours: 4 hours every fortnight, all year round. Flexible usage of hours.

About the young person: Happy and content child who enjoys toys with sounds, lights and music. Diagnosed with Down syndrome, learning difficulties, communication difficulties and moderate hearing loss. Uses facial expressions and vocalisations to communicate likes and dislikes. Needs support to access the community and engage in chosen activities, providing respite for mother.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with social and leisure activities.

Required Training and Qualifications

• Safeguarding Adults/Children training.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own personal car.
• Experience working with children who have disabilities.

Remuneration

• £16.47 per hour for self employed PA.
• £12.55 per hour for employed PA.
