Location: Canary Wharf, London E14 4PU
- Pay rate: £14.81 per hour
- Full-time: 37 hours per week (7.24 hours per day)
- Assignment: 6 months, with possibility of extension
- Clearance: Basic DBS required (Costs covered by the hiring process)
If you're a confident organiser with a calm, professional approach, this Personal Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-impact executive support in a busy, stakeholder-driven environment. You'll play a key part in helping senior leaders stay focused, make timely decisions, and keep strategic priorities on track.
What you'll be doing:- Proactively manage senior leaders' diaries, helping ensure priorities are scheduled and delivered
- Handle inbox management and prioritise correspondence, including sensitive matters when required
- Coordinate travel arrangements and manage expenses efficiently
- Prepare, collate and distribute meeting papers so meetings run smoothly and decisions are captured clearly
- Support agenda planning and provide secretariat support for boards and meetings
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of senior leaders
- Track actions and ensure follow-up activity is completed
- Manage competing priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs
- Support governance processes to help meetings operate effectively and in line with requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage appropriately with a wide range of stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving ability and the confidence to remain calm and focused under pressure
- High levels of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism (you'll have access to sensitive diaries and information)
- Strong IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- A proactive, energetic approach, with the ability to work both independently and as a team player
