Job Title: Personal Assistant

Location: Accrington, Lancashire
Salary/Rate: £12.21 per hour

• Term time: 4 hours per week (38 weeks per year)
• School holidays: 6 hours per week (14 weeks per year)
• Days/Times: Flexible, ideally all hours worked on one day - term time: one after school evening (not Tuesday); school holidays: one full weekday - Tuesday fine; no weekends.

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and confident Personal Assistant to support a creative, fun-loving teenage girl in the Accrington area. The role focuses on helping her access her local community, develop independence, and enjoy meaningful social activities.

• Support community access and independence, while supervising her at all times
• Plan and attend fun, engaging outings
• Encourage communication and confidence
• Provide consistent, positive support
• Ensure safety and comfort at all times
• Be mindful that she has a phobia of dogs

• Experience and understanding of autism, learning disability, and phobias
• Kind, patient, and creative
• Able to engage positively with a young person
• Reliable and able to work independently
• A good communicator
• Enjoys fun activities and getting out in the community
