Job Description
Working hours 
Monday to Friday 9-5pm, 1 weekend a month.
Pension & Maternity Leave
Requirements- Level 8 in Applied Social Studies or Equivalent plus proof of CORU Registration
- Management Qualification
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role in Respite setting.
- Car and full licence
- Requirements to attend a HIQA Interview
The PIC is responsible for the overall management, safety, and quality of care in the respite service. They ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, support staff, and maintain a safe, supportive environment for residents. Over 1 Deputy & 14 Social care workers / support workers. Maximum of 6 services users between the ages of 18 -64
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations of the residential service.
- Manage staff rotas, performance, and professional development.
- Ensure care plans are up to date, accurate, and person-centred.
- Monitor the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of residents.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Liaise with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and inspectors.
- Ensure transparent and respectful communication at all times.
