Person in Charge - Wicklow

AA Euro Healthcare is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Person in Charge (PIC) based in Bray, Co. Wicklow.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Care professional to lead a residential service supporting adults with intellectual disabilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining compliance with HIQA standards and regulatory requirements.

The Role

• Lead the day-to-day operation of a designated residential service
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred supports
• Provide leadership, supervision, and support to staff teams
• Maintain compliance with HIQA regulations, standards, and policies
• Promote positive outcomes and quality of life for service users
• Manage staffing, resources, and service development initiatives
• Work collaboratively with families, multidisciplinary teams, and external stakeholders
• Foster a culture of dignity, respect, inclusion, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care or a related field
• CORU Registration (proof of registration)
• Significant experience working within disability or residential services
• Previous management or supervisory experience desirable
• Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations and governance requirements
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Full driving licence and access to transport
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
