Your Role and Responsabilities
  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations within a designated centre.
  • Ensure compliance with HIQA, Health Act 2007, and related legislation.
  • Support and mentor your team through supervision, training, and reflection.
  • Promote inclusion, dignity, and personal choice for all service users.
  • Engage with families, professionals, and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage resources effectively, balancing quality and accountability.
What You'll Need
  • Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent recognised by CORU,
  • or Level 7 plus Management qualification (min. 30 ECTS, Level 6 or higher) in line with HIQA Regulation 14(7).
  • Minimum 3 years' management or supervisory experience in a health or social care setting.
  • Strong understanding of HIQA, Children First Act 2015, Disability Act 2005, and GDPR.
Vetting Requirement
  • Successful candidates will be subject to Garda Vetting through the National Vetting Bureau
