Peripatetic Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Peripatetic Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead to join their team. This role involves traveling across the region to manage and develop teams in various care homes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services. You will work closely with General Managers to implement action plans that meet residents' needs. As part of this role, you will be responsible for leadership duties in the absence of General Managers, ensuring care standards are met, and motivating and inspiring your team. Main duties of the job

ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical) at Barchester, you'll travel across your region to manage and develop the teams in various care homes, helping us deliver the high-quality care and service we're known for. Working closely with the General Manager or hiring manager, you'll implement action plans that ensure our residents' needs are met. You'll inspire a multidisciplinary team to make sure they help every resident enjoy the best possible quality of life. You'll set the highest standards and draw on your skills to develop and deliver strategies that will help you achieve your goals. ABOUT YOU: To join us as a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical), you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. Previous experience in a nursing home setting is essential, along with evidence of continual professional development. Experience managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments is also required. We'll look for some HR experience, knowledge of sales and marketing, an understanding of budget management, and a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. You'll be compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment.
