About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join as a People Coordinator, reporting to a new People Hub Manager and a new Chief People Officer, both joining in February. It is ideal for an experienced HR Coordinator seeking career growth. You will work alongside a team of coordinators, delivering excellent customer service and administrative support across the institute, while further developing our Workday functions. You will be the first point of contact for new starters during onboarding, and support employees and managers with HR queries, including visas, payroll, and benefits. This role offers autonomy and project opportunities to enhance your skills and experience.

What you will be doing
  • Develop an understanding of Workday to ensure data quality and efficient, auditable processes.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, leavers, and employee changes in Workday according to SOPs.
  • Handle employee electronic personnel files in line with SOPs.
  • Suggest improvements to HR processes and participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for HR, visa, and benefits queries, forwarding issues as needed.

  • Ability to build rapport and maintain good relationships across diverse groups.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of UK visa and right-to-work legislation.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
