Job Description

Salary: Competitive
Job Type: Permanent

Town: Dublin

Personal enough to know your name. Connected enough to open every door.

Axiom Hospitality is one of the UK's fastest-growing hotel management companies, and we're not slowing down. In a few short years we've grown to over 40 hotels, partnering with some of the world's most recognised brands including Hilton, Marriott, IHG and Radisson. Through our partnership with Pyramid Global Hospitality, we're not only connected across the UK, but connected across the globe.

That growth means something real for you. The leaders who join us now help shape where we go next, and we have a strong track record of promoting from within. For the right person, this is a chance to grow with a business that's going places.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're thrilled to be opening two brand-new hotels in Dublin in May 2027, another exciting step in growing our presence in the Republic of Ireland. To lead the people function for both hotels, we're now recruiting a Dual site People & Culture Manager.

The cluster brings together Courtyard by Marriott Dublin (252 rooms) and Residence Inn Dublin (222 rooms), two of Marriott's most trusted brands.

YOUR ROLE

Joining the Axiom team, you'll lead the people agenda across both hotels through pre-opening, one of the most rewarding stages in any hotel's life, and on into successful operation. You'll:

  • Lead the pre-opening recruitment campaign, attracting, selecting and onboarding the teams that will bring both hotels to life

  • Shape the people culture from day one, embedding Axiom's values and Marriott's brand standards in how teams are hired, trained and led

  • Partner closely with the Cluster General Manager and leadership team, acting as a trusted adviser on all people matters

  • Design and deliver induction, training and development programmes that build capability and confidence across both properties

  • Manage employee relations with fairness and consistency, coaching managers through performance, absence, grievance and disciplinary matters

  • Drive engagement, retention and wellbeing, using feedback and data to keep improving the colleague experience across two distinct brands

  • Manage monthly payroll, ensuring labour costs are in line with budget

WHO WE'RE LOOKING TO MEET

We'd love to hear from experienced HR professionals who bring:

  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Manager within a branded hotel environment, ideally with Marriott brands

  • Pre-opening and/or multi-property or cluster HR experience (desirable)

  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge employment law and HR best practice

  • A track record of high-volume recruitment and building teams from the ground up

  • Confidence managing employee relations cases and coaching managers to handle them well

  • A people-first approach that balances the needs of the business with genuine care for colleagues

  • Knowledge of the Dublin or Irish labour market would be a real advantage

WHO THRIVES HERE

We're growing, and the people who thrive here are those who bring energy, accountability and genuine passion for the industry. These are the behaviours that matter most at Axiom.

Adaptability & resilience: You stay calm and organised through change, and keep standards high when the pace picks up.
Collaboration, communication & inclusion: You build trust quickly with colleagues, managers, and brand partners. You communicate clearly, create inclusive environments and understand that great hospitality starts with great people management.
Accountability & results: You own your outcomes. You know what good looks like from a people perspective, from retention to compliance, and you don't wait to be told when something needs fixing.
Talent development & team building: You invest in the people around you. You spot potential, develop it and take pride in seeing colleagues grow.
Ethics, integrity & values: You model the standards you hold others to. Honest, consistent, discreet and trustworthy, with a genuine commitment to doing things the right way.
Innovation & continuous improvement: You look for better, not just different. Whether it's the recruitment process, onboarding or how teams are recognised, you're always asking how it could be better.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • Hotel discounts across all Axiom Hospitality hotels, with colleague rates and up to 50% off F&B

  • 28 days holiday, increasing annually

  • Discounts across retail, restaurants, events and more through our benefits and rewards portal

  • Access to our Employee Assistance Line to support your mental health and wellbeing

  • Use of the Wagestream financial wellbeing platform, giving you instant access to your pay

  • A complimentary Axiom Xcape stayover every year after one year of service

  • A growing team with great training, progression and promotion opportunities

  • Referral rewards

  • Free meals while on shift

  • Length of service awards at 1, 3, 5, 10 and 20 years, and more!

WE'RE GROWING FAST. WILL YOU?

As we grow our presence in Ireland, the right Cluster HR Manager won't just recruit two hotel teams. They'll help shape what it feels like to work for Axiom in one of Europe's most exciting hospitality markets. If you're ready for your next big challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
