We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a prestigious secondary school in North Yorkshire. This long-term position, starting in September 2025 and running until Easter 2026, is tailor-made for you if you have a strong background in physical education and love inspiring young minds.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and dynamic PE lessons that cater to students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
- Plan and execute well-structured lessons that align with the national curriculum and inspire a love for physical activity.
- Provide constructive feedback and assessment to students, helping them track their progress and achieve their full potential.
- Organise and supervise extracurricular activities such as sports clubs, tournaments and events, fostering a sense of community and school spirit.
- Qualified and experienced PE Teacher with relevant teaching certifications.
- A genuine passion for physical education and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents and colleagues.
- Adaptable and flexible mindset to thrive in a dynamic school environment.
- A commitment to upholding high standards of professionalism, safeguarding and welfare.
