Female PE Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Female PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school. This role involves full teaching and assessment responsibilities. The position is part-time, four days a week, and is available until Easter. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is looking to make a significant impact in the physical education of young students.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback to promote strong student outcomes.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, safe, and energetic learning environment.
- Encourage students to actively participate in all physical activities and to understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
- Organize sports events and competitions.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate physical education with other curricula.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a PE Teacher in a secondary school environment.
- Strong understanding of the PE curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Ability to manage classes and deal with challenging behavior.
- Commitment to professional development and learning.
