PE and Maths Teacher

PE and Maths Teacher - Full-time, long-term temporary role from February 2026

Duties as PE and Maths Teacher

• Plan and deliver engaging PE and Maths lessons across relevant year groups.
• Use pre-prepared materials where required to support lesson delivery.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote positive routines.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs.
• Support pupils with both practical and academic progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a consistent approach across departments.
• Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil welfare.

Ideal PE and Maths Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching PE and Maths.
• Strong subject knowledge in both curriculum areas.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire pupils.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive approach to supporting pupil development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
