Job Description
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax and pension contributions.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant authorities.
- Support audits by providing payroll-related documentation and information.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related queries.
- Implement payroll updates and adjustments in response to company or regulatory changes.
- Provide training and guidance to junior payroll staff, if required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Supervisor should have:
- Previous experience leading a small payroll team
- Knowledge of UK payroll legislation, statutory requirements, PAYE and HMRC rules
- Experience working with Zellis Resource Link and Kronos systems
- Strong analytical skills
- Full UK license
- An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
