The Role

We are seeking a Payroll Officer to join a busy payroll team in Salford. You'll play a key role in processing payroll for over 8,000 employees, ensuring accurate, timely pay in line with UK payroll legislation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll knowledge who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Handle payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with UK payroll laws (PAYE, taxes, pensions).
• Customer Service: Be the first point of contact for payroll queries, providing clear and friendly support.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to meet payroll deadlines and maintain accuracy.
• Technology: Use SAP, HR/Payroll software, and Microsoft applications to deliver results.
• Continuous Improvement: Share best practices and contribute to service enhancements.
