Job Description

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a part-time basis, working 20 hours per week on a permanent contract. This position is based at our Slough & Langley College campus. The role offers a competitive salary on the support pay scale, Grade K, ranging from £22,695.20 up to £24,433.63 (full-time equivalent: £36,763 up to £39,579), which is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a comprehensive payroll service with accuracy in payroll processes, including pensions, absence calculations, and processing time and expense claims.
  • Liaise with staff, managers, HR team and pension providers; handle and organise payroll data to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Assist the payroll manager in developing payroll policies and systems.
  • Contribute to projects such as software enhancements and ensure procedures are followed within set deadlines.
