Payroll Manager - Oracle HCM Payroll - 6 months - Outside IR35 - Hybrid, Hatfield

This large, well known retail and technology business is looking for a contractor to help develop and support the payroll team, working with them to increase their understanding and capabilities in Oracle Payroll, with focus on end-to-end in-house payroll processing, for both salary an hourly payrolls. Using previous Oracle Payroll knowledge, you will help implement and embed payroll processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of a timely and accurate Payroll. This includes month and year-end activities and statutory submissions to 3rd parties, including HMRC.

You will have:

• Deep knowledge of Oracle Payroll functionality, best practice, and UK payroll legislation
• Experience of processing payroll in house via Oracle HCM Payroll
• Deployment, testing and sign-off of patches new financial year system updates
• Previous experience of parallel runs, testing and test scenario creation
• Previous experience of processing high volume hourly paid payrolls
• Ability to perform manual payroll calculations ie PAYE, NI, pension.
