Job Description

Job Title: Payroll Implementation Consultant

Location: Remote - Norway

Contract Duration: 12 Months + Extension

Languages: English (must be fluent)

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants must either reside in the country or have strong experience with Norwegian payroll.

Project Overview:

Join a dynamic payroll solutions team as a Functional Consultant, leading payroll solution implementations. You will manage the full project life cycle, liaising with clients, configuring the payroll solution, performing testing, and supporting go-live activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead functional requirements discussions with clients.
  • Capture payroll configuration details and complete workbooks.
  • Validate payroll solutions and perform data validations.
  • Work closely with the Product team for configuration and issue resolution.
  • Support UAT, parallel testing, and integration testing.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to operational teams.

Must-Have Experience:

  • Experience in payroll outsourcing or payroll software environments.
  • Strong knowledge of country-specific payroll compliance (tax, legislation, etc.).
  • Proven track record in the payroll implementation project life cycle.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to solve problems proactively and manage stakeholders effectively.
