The Role

As a Payroll Executive, you will play akey role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services to a variedportfolio of clients. Working as part of a supportive payroll team, you willmanage end-to-end payroll processes while building strong client relationshipsand ensuring compliance with current legislation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Inputpayroll data as required, including running audit and validation checksand interfacing with General Ledger and pension systems
  • Monitorand process statutory payments, including SSP, SMP, and other entitlements
  • Completeyear-end payroll reporting where applicable
  • Maintainand update time and attendance systems (BMS)
  • Manageend-to-end payroll processing, including auto-enrolment compliance, for a portfolio of clients
  • Respondto payroll related queries, acting as a trusted point of contact forclients
  • Providesupport for payroll enquiries
  • Performpeer reviews of payroll outputs
  • Supportgeneral administrative tasks and contribute to the wider payroll team
  • Buildand maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, HMRC, andthird-party providers
  • Communicateeffectively across the payroll function and wider business
Requirements
  • Minimumof one year's payroll experience, ideally within a practice or bureau/clientfacing environment
  • Experiencemanaging end-to-end payroll processes, including pensions, benefits, andstatutory payments
  • Strongattention to detail with a high level of accuracy across both manual andsystem-based work
  • Abilityto prioritise, organise and manage multiple tasks independently
  • Customerfocused, with confidence handling queries via phone and email
  • Adaptableand comfortable working in a changing environment
  • Provenability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Solidunderstanding of payroll legislation and auto-enrolment requirements
  • Abilityto perform manual payroll calculations
