This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior payroll position within a growing and client-focused business. The role combines technical payroll processing with service delivery and team support.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:- Processing a portfolio of client payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Collating timesheets and payroll data for accurate input.
- Calculating pay and preparing payroll reports for review.
- Producing and issuing payslips and client reports in a timely manner.
- Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records.
- Ensuring all required payroll information is complete and compliant.
- Filing statutory returns within required deadlines.
- Responding to client queries efficiently and professionally.
- Supporting general team administration and payroll service development.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience processing payroll within an office or professional services environment. They will demonstrate strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with a proactive and flexible approach. The ability to handle confidential information and work both independently and as part of a team is key.
