Payroll Administrator

TPF Recruitment is recruiting a Payroll Administrator to join a fantastic firm of accountants based in Ashford. The role can be full time or part time, and the salary will depend on experience and working hours.

You'll look after payroll for a portfolio of clients. During quieter periods, there's also the opportunity to gain experience in bookkeeping, VAT, P11Ds and CIS, depending on your interests and experience.

• Process client payrolls accurately and on time.
  
• Handle starters, leavers, pay changes and statutory payments.
  
• Prepare payslips, payroll reports and pension submissions.
  
• Respond to payroll queries and maintain accurate records.
  
• Support with bookkeeping, VAT, P11Ds or CIS during quieter periods.
  

• Previous payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau.
  
• A good understanding of PAYE, National Insurance and statutory payments.
  
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
  
• A friendly, professional approach to dealing with clients.
  
• £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience (full time equivalent for part time applicants)
