The Role.GMC Utilities Group is seeking a Payroll Administratorto join our team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who is looking to develop their career within a busy and growing organisation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Key Responsibilities:- Process weekly and/or monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including starters, leavers, changes to salary, hours and benefits.
- Process statutory deductions, PAYE, PRSI and other payroll-related requirements.
- Manage timesheets, attendance records, overtime and holiday information.
- Respond to employee queries relating to payroll and provide timely and professional support.
- Ensure payroll information is entered and maintained accurately withinSage.
- Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality of all payroll and employee information.
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve payroll queries and discrepancies.
- Ensure payroll processes are completed in line with company policies and relevant legislation.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance/payroll function as required.
- Minimum 1 years' experiencein a Payroll Administration or similar role.
- Previous experience processing payroll in a busy working environment.
- Hands-on experience using Sage.
- Good understanding of payroll processes and Irish payroll requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
