Job Description

If you are a Payroll professional looking for a new position in and around the Leeds area this could be the perfect role for you.

As Payroll Administrator you will have a keen eye for numbers, love solving problems, and want to be part of a company that truly values its people, if that sounds of interest this role is for you.

Working directly with a Payroll Manager you will help with the smooth process of multiple payrolls totally c1000 staff members per month.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the full payroll cycle.
  • Resolve payroll queries by liaising with employees and external providers.
  • Process overtime, private mileage, and lodge allowances.
  • Handle statutory documents (P45s, P60s, P11Ds) and assist with year-end tasks.
  • Manage statutory payments like SMP, SSP, SPP and pension deductions.
  • Process Attachment of Earnings and other employee deductions.
  • Stay updated on payroll legislation and ensure full compliance.
  • Contribute to payroll-related admin and project support.
Skills and Experience
  • Prior payroll experience is essential.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Great communication skills and a team-player mindset.
