Payroll Administrator job in Bath

We're looking for a meticulous and motivated Payroll Administrator to join our team in the heart of Bath. If you thrive on accuracy, enjoy working with numbers, and want to be part of a supportive and professional environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
This is a 9-month fixed-term contract.

Your new role
You'll be responsible for managing payroll for approximately 90 employees, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing monthly payroll and ensuring compliance with UK legislation.
  • Managing statutory payments (SSP, SMP, pensions).
  • Responding to payroll queries and liaising with HR and Finance.
  • Keeping accurate records and ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Supporting internal audits and reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience in payroll administration (ideally for 50+ employees).
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Familiarity with payroll software.
  • A discreet, professional, and proactive approach.
