Pattern Cutter / Industrial Machinist (Laser Cutting & Rugs)

We're supporting a well-established Bicester-based business who are looking to recruit a Pattern Cutter / Machinist to join their production team. This is a hands-on role combining laser pattern cutting with industrial sewing (heavier materials), supporting both their core production work and their Rugs department.

The role will involve:

• Operating a laser cutter to cut pattern pieces accurately
• Preparing and organising cut pieces into bundles ready for sewing
• Supporting the Rugs department, producing items such as rugs, sheets and number cloths
• Sewing heavier fabrics (including melton and poly-cottons) using industrial sewing machines
• Working to specifications, maintaining quality and consistency throughout production
• General support across the workshop as required

What they're looking for:

• Ideally experience in pattern cutting (laser cutter experience ideal, but training provided in this area)
• Strong industrial sewing experience, particularly with heavier fabrics
• Confident working with melton/poly cottons and similar materials
• Good attention to detail and a methodical, accurate approach
• Leatherwork experience would be an advantage

• Full-time role near Bicester - Own transport required.
• Monday to Friday working hours (no weekends)
• Salary currently £26,100 per annum DOE.
• Varied work across cutting and sewing in a production environment
