Job Description
Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well organised and positive individual to join our busy Patient Experience Team. The Patient Experience Team provide a person-centred approach to responding to all types of patient feedback, including complaints.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a person-centred approach to responding to patient feedback, including complaints.
  • Support the Patient Experience Administrator in ensuring that all patient feedback is dealt with effectively, efficiently and with care and compassion.
  • Liaise with the public and a wide range of staff, processing complex information accurately.
Qualifications and experience
  • Experience of working in an administrative capacity with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to process complex information.
  • Experience liaising with the public and a wide range of staff.
  • Working knowledge of the DATIX system would be advantageous.
Working arrangements and requirements
  • Existing permanent employees must discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager before applying.
  • Secondment policies apply; external applicants with continuous NHS service must have a secondment agreement from their existing board to apply.
  • As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week; part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata, with a corresponding increase in hourly rate.
  • PVG Scheme membership is a requirement prior to appointment.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom must be demonstrated; pre-employment checks will verify entitlement to work in the UK.
  • Pre-employment checks may include evidence of visa status; refer to GOV.UK for routes of permission.
  • It is essential to confirm right to work or sponsor eligibility before submitting the application.
  • Salary is pro rata for part-time hours.
