We are currently seeking for our client, Eldora SA, a leader in collective catering in French-speaking Switzerland, to recruit a: Pastry Chef H/FMISSION DESCRIPTIONThe autonomous pastry chef within a high-volume staff restaurant, welcoming between 220 to 280 guests daily, also supports supplementary activities for lounges, seminars, and cocktails. He/She is responsible for the preparation and the presentation of desserts for the restaurant as well as the plated desserts during events. The position also includes the provision of seminar breaks, assistance during lunch service, particularly for hot dishes, as well as stock management and order placement. The pastry chef works independently while integrating into a structured team composed of four kitchen staff, two polyvalent workers, and three front-of-house personnel, in an organized, demanding, and quality-oriented environment.PROFILEWith a CFC or equivalent in pastry, the ideal candidate is an autonomous, rigorous, and organized professional, capable of managing their position independently while collaborating effectively with the entire team. He/She has a solid skill set in pastry, demonstrates versatility, and adapts to a fast pace with large volumes. Detail-oriented, reliable, and consistent, he/she places particular importance on the quality of products, the consistency of presentations, and the overall output.
