Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced PAS-X MES Support Engineer to join our team in Cork. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Werum PAS-X and proven experience in L2/L3 application support. This role is primarily focused on managing high-priority (P1) tickets, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring smooth operation of manufacturing execution processes.

The candidate must be based in Cork and available to work on-site at least 3 days per week (preferably Full time on-site) to collaborate closely with the client and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Werum PAS-X MES, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.

• Manage and respond to P1 (Priority 1) tickets to minimise downtime and production impact.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.

• Work closely with manufacturing, QA, and IT teams to address MES-related challenges.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity within PAS-X.

• Coordinate with vendor support teams for escalation and resolution of complex problems.

• Maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and incident logs.

• Participate in change management, testing, and deployment of PAS-X updates or enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in MES support roles, specifically with Werum PAS-X.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes in pharma or biotech environments.

• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, configuration, and support of PAS-X modules.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure, especially when handling P1 incidents.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment & Expectations

• On-site presence in Cork required 3 days per week.

• Fast-paced environment with critical operational dependencies on PAS-X MES.
