Job Description
Overview

Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon - Buxton Area. This permanent part-time role offers clinical autonomy, variety, and a supportive team in Derbyshire's countryside.

Responsibilities
  • 28 hours across 4 weekdays (9:00-17:00).
  • No regular weekends, out-of-hours, or bank holidays.
  • Based at a Buxton branch with ownership of your cases and development of a loyal client base.
  • Typical day: morning consults, a surgical procedure (neutering, dentals, lump removals), and afternoon consults.
  • Occasional work at a second, busier practice 1-2 days per week to broaden caseload and exposure.
  • Collaborate with an experienced team; maintain continuity of care across both sites.
Dual-Site Details
  • Buxton: a quiet, growing practice open two days a week with potential expansion.
  • Second site: fully equipped with broader diagnostic tools (x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy).
