An established independent accountancy firm based just outside Chelmsford is looking to expand its team with the addition of a part-time Semi Senior or Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing year end accounts for a mix of limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
• Producing statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102 and FRS 101
• Completing corporation tax computations and submissions
• Preparing, reviewing, and filing VAT returnsManaging client relationships and responding to queries on accounting and tax matters

What We're Looking For

• Ideally 2 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice
• Previous experience working directly with clients
• Strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines confidently
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, CCH, or Sage
