A friendly and inclusive primary school in Gateshead is looking for a motivated Part-Time KS1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 1.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping younger pupils develop confidence and build strong foundations in learning.
The role is part-time, term time only, working between 8.30am and 3.30pm.
The RoleAs a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils as they develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and classroom routines.
- Supporting pupils during phonics and reading sessions
- Helping children stay engaged and focused during lessons
- Working with small groups to reinforce learning
- Encouraging positive behaviour and participation
- Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation and organisation
You will play a key role in helping pupils feel confident as they progress through early primary education.
