The Role

We're looking for a dependable and experienced part-time HGV Removals Driver to join our removals crew at David Duggleby Movers & Storers . Number of days and hours available are open for discussion. This is more than just a driving job-you'll be helping customers move homes and businesses with confidence and care.

What You'll Be Doing

Driving HGV (Class 2 minimum) vehicles for domestic and commercial removals
Loading, transporting, and unloading valuable items, including antiques and furniture
Completing paperwork accurately and efficiently
Delivering top-level customer service at all stages of the removal process
Packing and handling items safely and professionally
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and assisting with basic upkeep
Supporting your team in all physical and logistical tasks, including some overnight stays

What We're Looking For

Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence
Removals experience highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
Good communication and a customer-first attitude
Physical fitness and confidence handling heavy/awkward items
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable
Comfortable with flexible hours and overnight travel when needed
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
