Part time Food & Service Assistant English and (B1) Dutch

Our client is looking for a friendly and reliable person to join their small, welcoming team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, loves good food, and appreciates a warm and social atmosphere.

Working hours:
Friday: 8:45 to 17:15 (8 hours, including a 30-minute break)
Saturday: 8:15 to 16:15 (7.5 hours, including a 30-minute break)

What you will do?

Your workday will be varied and hands-on. Together with your colleagues, you will help keep the shop running smoothly and make sure every customer has a great experience.

Your main tasks include:

• Setting up the shop in the morning, such as placing boards and displays outside

• Assisting customers with bread, croissants, and other baked goods, including using the bread slicer

• Preparing and serving coffee and tea for breakfast guests

• Operating the digital cash register

• Making and serving sandwiches for customers to eat in or take away

• Keeping the work area tidy and doing light cleaning throughout the day

• Helping close the shop at the end of the day and cleaning displays and shelves Requirements Who you are?

Our client is looking for someone who enjoys working in a small team and with a diverse group of customers. You do not need years of experience; your attitude and friendliness are what matter most.

You:
• Can speak some Dutch and feel comfortable communicating with both Dutch and English-speaking customers
• Have a flexible mindset and do not mind if it is sometimes busy and sometimes quiet
• Are sociable and enjoy connecting with different kinds of people
• Stay calm and positive, even when things get hectic or very quiet
• Are dependable, responsible, and not afraid of taking on some extra responsibility when needed. Benefits Our client offers:
