This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised cook who enjoys working in a private household and takes pride in producing high-quality meals tailored to the family's tastes. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a private cook or chef and should be confident preparing traditional Punjabi cuisine. They should be organised, efficient and able to work independently while maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene and kitchen organisation. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential. Duties would include: planning nutritious and varied weekly menus preparing authentic Punjabi dishes to a high standard cooking fresh lunches and evening meals batch cooking and preparing meals for the week ahead accommodating dietary requirements and family preferences shopping for fresh ingredients and household food supplies when required maintaining kitchen stock and monitoring food inventory ensuring excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness keeping the kitchen organised and well maintained storing and labelling prepared meals appropriately liaising with the family regarding menu preferences and special occasions ensuring consistently high standards of food quality and presentation Salary to be discussed in the interview.
