Financial Manager/Accountant - Bedfordshire

Location: Bedfordshire

Salary (Pro Rata): £55,000 - £60,000 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent), depending on experience. For the part-time role (3 days per week), the salary will be pro-rated, ranging from £33,000 to £36,000 annually, based on the candidate's experience.

About the Company: A rapidly growing manufacturing business The company is set for excellent growth over the next two years and is looking for an experienced Finance Manager or Financial Accountant to help guide its financial strategy and operations. No reportees

Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent preferred

The Role: This role is ideal for a qualified or newly qualified accountant with a strong background in financial management, especially in balance sheet reconciliation, cash flow management, and compliance with statutory reporting You'll work closely with the leadership team, reporting to the Finance Director navigating both operational and strategic finance challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage balance sheet reconciliation and cash flow

• Ensure compliance and manage regulations

• Work on process improvement initiatives

• Operate SAP for accounting

Who We Are Looking For:

• Qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar)

• Strong experience in accounting, financial management, and operational improvement

• Comfortable working with SAP (preferred but not essential)

• Ability to manage and drive efficiency through systems - fewer heads, same output

• Flexible for part-time hours (3 days per week) with possible additional hours

• A hands-on, proactive approach, with a focus on results and strategic growth
