Job Description
Job Summary

This role encompasses market research, land appraisal, promotional material development, telesales, face to face negotiation and customer service. As part of the Sales team you will arrange visits, conduct tours, prepare material, advise on features, secure agreements and see sales through to completion and after sales service. You will be expected to thrive in a targets driven, customer focused environment.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will manage all part exchange properties, from purchase to sale, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage the PX holding to achieve company targets.
  • Follow Group policy and procedures when purchasing and selling PX properties, providing required evidence and details for approval and maintaining accurate forecasting.
  • Obtain necessary documentation (DofV, indemnity policies, ManCo packs, gas/safety certificates) and manage third parties to meet legal completion dates.
  • Communicate effectively with the Sales Director, progression and management teams to update on PX property buy in progress.
  • Maintain customer expectations during visits and communication regarding potential offers; arrange relevant surveys, reports and inspections in line with policy.
  • Ensure vacated properties are inspected, presented in an excellent saleable condition and any remedial works or enhancements are arranged.
  • Adhere to PX pricing policy, instructing price reductions where necessary to drive performance.
  • Manage agents to generate interest in assisted selling scheme properties and secure correct AML documentation to comply with audit.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
  • Well organised with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of local market and the legal buying process.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and 'deal making' skills.
  • Self disciplined, decisive, problem solving and forward thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to deal with diverse backgrounds.
  • Customer centric approach and ability to build relationships with ease.
