Parcel Sorter

Aviation Recruitment Network are working with a multinational cargo company who require entry-level Parcel Sorters for various shifts at London Stansted Airport (CM23).

Pay rates for parcel sorters are as follows:

• Standard (06:00 - 22:00): £13.29 p/h (+ £0.11 p/h post parity)
• Nights (22:00 - 06:00): £17.29 p/h

No experience is required to apply for this role, and all necessary training is provided. Students welcome!

Shifts

• Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday: 19:00 to 00:00 and Saturday 15:30 to 02:00 (Part-Time) 23.5 - 25.5 hours.
• Saturday only 15:30 to 02:00 (Part-time shift) 7 - 10.5 hours.

Duties

• Parcel scanning and placing parcels onto a conveyer belt.
• Loading and unloading parcels, freight and cargo weighing between 11kg to 25kg.
• Assisting with loading parcels into a truck.

What you will bring to the team

• A great team player.
• Able to lift up to 25KG loading/unloading.
• Effective communicator, in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent eye for detail.

Success Criteria

• Basic literacy and numeracy - you must pass a Cargo Operative training course.
• 5 years checkable education/work history.
• Clear Criminal Record Check (UK DBS).
• The ability to get to and from London Stansted Airport in time for your shift.
• You must be able to deal with repetitive and heavy lifting.
